Dearest Family
It was a busy week, just like missionaries want it to
be!
The high point was definately on Monday. Judy stopped in
to the Public Library & ask at the desk if the people who helped with Family
History were there? She was interested in doing Family History, she had
already collected records, obits, etc. When our picture came out in the paper,
shehad cut it out & put it in a sleeve to keep it & told us both about
that. Dad worked with her first. Censuses are wonderful & we were able to
find info for her. She'll be back today, we are now looking looking for more
on her grandmother! Judy had a family group sheet from when she & her
husband had visited Martins Cove in 2003 which we worked from.
The other sister who comes on Monday was ready to print
out a Temple Ordinance Request for some family members. We did that & on
Tuesday I did the initiatory & endowment for one sister from her list
who had already baptised. That was a sweet experience! Our prayer is that in the
future she will be prepared to attend the temple. Tuesday was the girls trip to
the temple! Darece, Joy & I had a wonderful day together! Dad drove to
Worland to help Allen with some meat cutting!
Tuesday evening in the FHC we worked with Dale & Peggy
Fowler, he is the High Councilor whom we work with. Yes , there are unsuccessful
moments. We know his parents & older siblings are on the 1940 Census, but
we cannot find them! Still working on that one! We so want him to enjoy some
aspect of Family History.
Wednesday's are always great in the FHC, Even though this
one was spent working consultants & others who work there, all of us need
to continue to learn new skills. We also prepared for a 5th Sunday lesson in
the Lovell 1st ward, that was our first time doing that!
W enjoyed the Homecoming game, Kaitlyn's volleyball, a
fishing trip Friday A.M. (no catching). the Gen RS Mtg, (need to review
that).
It was so nice to be in Worland on Sunday with Allen &
Amber for their mtgs. Camille was blessed, & Allen did a great job
presenting a 5th Sunday lesson on missionary work. We know lots of people
there & it is great to see them! We also enjoyed visiting with Amber's
family. We came home early to present the lesson in the 1st ward at 5:00 p.m.
then cover the FHC from 6-9p.m. Slower evening, but internet connections were
not good, until a patron came in to work on his own lines. Prayers were
answered & we were blessed!
We love you all, CTR Love Mom & Dad,
Grandpa & Grandma
P.S. we were totally exhausted Sunday even, & busy
Monday, so just completed!!
Camille looking GREAT! |
